Canteen Assistant

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a permanent Canteen Assistant based at their office in Aberdeen.

Job Description

With a worldwide operational presence, we are one of the world’s foremost independent drilling contractors. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Canteen Assistant to join our Onshore Team on a permanent basis, based at our [Employer hidden] Office, on the South side of Aberdeen City.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Chef in the preparation of all food items as instructed. During Breakfast & Lunch Service take orders & payment.
  • Ensure all tables are cleared & cleaned once vacated.
  • Load & unload dishwasher.
  • Vacuum & Mop canteen floor after service, daily.
  • Cleaning & stocking snack area & juice machine.
  • Keeping chilled cabinets and food areas topped up and clean.
  • Emptying bins at the end of the day.
  • Ensuring the floor is clean at all times.
  • Checking snack area before end of shift and ensuring juice machine etc. is topped up.
  • Ensure Breakfast area is topped up with bread/cereals and check it is left clean & tidy.
  • Clean juice dispenser & milk fridge weekly.
  • Cover for Canteen/Cleaning Assistant when absent due to illness/annual leave.
  • Advise Office Facilities Manager of any faults or defects within the canteen area.
  • Any other duties as required by the Office Facilities Manager.
