Established in 2011, The [Employer hidden] Group is an independently owned and award winning group of restaurants and pubs located across the South Coast of Kent. The operation includes flagship restaurant [Employer hidden], which has held 2 AA rosettes for 12 consecutive years running, plus its sister fish restaurant Little Rock and Pilot beach bar located just a short walk away in Folkestone Harbour. The [Employer hidden] Group also owns a group of highly regarded pubs under The Pickled Egg Pub Company. Executive Group Chef Marcin Szelag who has worked for the group since [Employer hidden] first opened its doors over 12 years ago, now leads a strong team of talented chefs across all venues and oversees the operation and delivery of all menus across the group. With a key focus on locally sourced, seasonal produce from highly regarded local suppliers, Marcin plays a pivotal role in the success of all venues.

About the role

• The Radnor Arms has rapidly become one of Folkestone's most talked about and highly regarded food and drink destinations having recently been crowned 5th Best Pub in Britain by The Good Food Guide, under the helm of our General Manager Ryan Hillier and Head Chef Niel Talan.
• Ideally you will have gained experience within a high volume kitchen either as a CDP or Commis Chef and want to further your career further
• Set in a beautiful period town house, this urban pub delivers forward thinking, modern cooking, all set within a truly unique pub interior. The drink offering perfectly compliments the food with a strong focus on craft and continental beers, innovative cocktails and a high quality wine list and the ever popular Theme Nights including Asian Nights on Mondays.
• The courtyard garden in the Summer and 'The Landing' event space on the 1st floor complete the offering.

Salary

Up to £15.00 per hour inc tronc plus excellent benefits

About You

We are looking for hardworking and creative industry professionals to join the teams. We are ideally looking for CDP Chefs with at least 1 years experience in a high end fast paced kitchen. Your Key Attributes

• Min 1 year CDP Chef experience is preferable
• Applicants must be well presented and highly motivated
• You must have a willingness to learn, the ability to remain calm under pressure and have great communication skills.
