FULL DESCRIPTION

Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our Residential Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of our Residential projects. You will ensure risk is apportioned appropriately through contract negotiations, you will provide advice to the operations teams and assist with financial reporting.

  • Location: Swadlincote
  • Job Type: Full Time (41.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri)

  • Technical Knowledge – Understanding of construction methods, materials and H&S regulations

  • Negotiation & Communication Skills – Ability to build relationships and negotiate contracts with clients. Strong verbal and written communication for reports and team collaboration.
  • Commercial Awareness – Understanding of construction contracts, legal risks and market conditions
  • Software Proficiency – Good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
