Experienced Physiotherapist in Medicine & ICU - Fixed Term 12 Months
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Band 6 Experienced Physiotherapist for a fixed-term 12-month role covering maternity leave. Based at Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, this split role involves 3 days in ICU/Surgery and 2 days in Medicine. You will be an autonomous practitioner, delivering patient-centered care and supporting the multi-disciplinary team.
Main Duties
- Deliver patient-centered therapy for [Employer hidden] Hospital (RBFT).
- Professionally responsible for all aspects of your work, including therapeutic management of patients.
- Provide specialist support and advice to the multi-disciplinary team.
- Manage own caseload as an autonomous practitioner.
- Deliver a high quality, effective physiotherapy service.
- Contribute to service development in Therapies and the Trust.

Person Specification
Essential
- Degree or recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registered
- NHS experience across core clinical areas including respiratory
- Examples of leadership
- NHS rehab experience
Desirable
- Rehab experience in acute hospital
- Up-to-date knowledge of research and evidence-based practice
- Leadership course completed
Additional Information
