Patient Pathway Coordinator CAT 7
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Urgent Care team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] (RBFT). We currently have an opportunity for a Band 4 PPC at [Employer hidden] (RBFT), where we provide a first-class, efficient, pro-active and patient-focused admin service.
Main Duties
The role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Team. You will support the CAT in the delivery of a patient-focused service, and be responsible for the processing of general admin duties, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, processing clinic letters, and other administrative duties. Previous experience of delivering high levels of customer/patient service, working within an administrative environment (preferably NHS but not essential), using multiple computer systems, and managing data (electronic and paper based) is required. Knowledge of the 18-week pathway is also beneficial.

Qualifications (Essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience
- Experience of using full range of IT systems including accurate data entry, typing and checking skills
- Ability to use own judgement to resolve problems and queries competently, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities (Essential)
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
- Customer Care experience
- Experience of handling patient/customer queries
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities (Desirable)
- Understanding of patient priorities and performance targets related to appointments and waiting times
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
Experience (Essential)
- NHS Admin Experience
- Experience of arranging appointments and/or admissions
- Experience of working with patients and providing information regarding their appointments or treatment team
