FULL DESCRIPTION

Future Tutor Course Administrator

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] – Part time, 7 hours per week. Reporting to FT Course Leader. £26K FTE.

Job Purpose

To support the Course Leader and tutors by providing administrative services including administration liaison with the RSN Studio, managing student accounts and other administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handling administrative activities for the Future Tutor Course Leader
  • Maintaining student materials accounts and ensuring these are paid off in a timely manner
  • Handling general enquiries about the FT programme and organising and collecting visitors. Take bookings for Open Days send out zoom links or organise on site and respond to questions
  • Reordering of stock lists prepared by course leader/ tutors ensuring resources are ready as required and cupboards are kept stocked and tidy
  • Updating FT information on website and via Social media posts liaising with other departments as required
  • Update the FT information area with all relevant information ahead of each term
  • Assist with preparation and hanging of end of year exhibition
  • Completing stock control and financial records as required
  • Maintaining student accounts, admin for tutors, time sheets and invoices
  • Ordering and collating resources for students for each module, mailing out materials to students as required
  • Setting up the teaching room and online systems and registers for classes as required and ensuring it is ready for other users at the end of the sessions
  • Overseeing IT requirements for the department
  • Filing of assessment photos and, as required making videos for promotional use with the Course Leader
  • Support the department in transition to Cloud storage
  • Willing to take on additional skills as required by needs of students (eg disability awareness training)
  • And anything else requested by the Chief Executive
