Community Staff Nurse-SLW (Band 5)

This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £32,073 - £39,043 per annum pro rata. The position involves providing nursing care to patients in their own homes and clinic settings.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Education (Essential)

  • First level Registered Nurse with NMC
  • Nursing degree or equivalent experience

Experience (Desirable)

  • Experience in a community setting
  • Substantial post registration experience
  • Completion of preceptorship/support skills
  • Computer literate
  • Venepuncture

Communication & Relationship Skills (Essential)

  • Attention to detail
  • Respect for patients' dignity
  • Ability to cope with unpredictable work patterns
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Must be able to commute to meet the need of a Community Staff Nurse
