Rotational Administration Apprentice

Apprenticeships: Apprenticeship - Full time 37.5 hours per week at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Salary £14,722 per annum. Closing: 10/05/2026.

Job overview

⭐We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the patient access team based at King's Mill Hospital⭐

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has an eye for detail and who will put the patient and customer care at the forefront. Potential areas: Outpatient Reception, Call Centre, Medical Records and Clinic Preparation. You will develop various skills across the patient access team as a Rotational Admin Clerk.

You must have:

  • A good general education
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility in approach, willingness to work in any reception area
  • Ability to work any day 8am-8pm

  • Computer literate with keyboard experience
  • Good general education with GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in a confidential setting
  • Evidence of teamwork
  • Good attendance record, punctual
  • Flexible attitude to cover sickness and annual leave
  • Continual professional awareness

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of NHS
  • Knowledge and use of Careflow
  • Previous clerical and customer care experience
