Energy Manager Apprentice

Based at Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool, this role involves energy management, data analysis, and sustainability projects while completing a Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship.
Job Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Energy Team at Liverpool University Hospitals, whilst completing the Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship. The successful applicant will work within a dynamic team of energy and sustainability professionals within the Estates and Facilities Department. Day to day management will be provided by the Carbon and Energy Manager. At least 20% of the role will consist of formal training.
Main Duties
- Energy data collection, analysis and reporting
- Assist with creation and implementation of plans to reduce energy use
- Complete internal energy audits, surveys and checks
- Assist in reviewing policies and practices
- Assist in creation and delivery of awareness days and campaigns

The Energy Manager Apprentice will play a key role within Liverpool University Hospitals, supporting the energy manager in rollout of energy projects such as solar installations, renewable energy feasibilities, and grant fund bids. Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential: Qualified to at least A-Level (x2) or equivalent, with minimum 3 GCSEs at A* to C including Maths & English.
Desirable: Maths or Science A-Level, Level 3 Junior Energy Manager apprenticeship.
Experience
Essential: Experience of project management and administration, communicating with a variety of audiences.
Desirable: Experience in sustainability communication.
