Electrician

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for an Electrician to join our business on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll work with established teams delivering projects across the UK for clients in the Water industry. Competitive rate of £22.25 per hour with enhanced overtime. Travel and working away from home required, accommodation provided by [Employer hidden].

Key Duties

  • Install cable containment systems to a high standard safely
  • Install, gland, terminate cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings
  • Install electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturer’s instructions
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment
  • Work at height to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
  • Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specifications

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician with installation and repair skills
  • Demonstrable experience in electrical systems installation or maintenance
  • ECS Grading Card – current and in date
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations
  • 18th Edition qualification (preferred)
  • Water industry experience highly advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
