Furniture Van Driver
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Furniture Van Driver on a temporary basis. This role involves collecting donated furniture and delivering to shops and families. Based at Martlesham Retail Centre.
About the Role
We’re looking for reliable, friendly Furniture Van Drivers on a temporary basis to support our charity’s work across the local area. If you enjoy being out on the road, meeting people, and helping households in need, this role could be a great fit. On a temporary 3 month fixed term basis, we are ideally looking for 2 people to work 15 hours each per week but we would consider 1 person for 30 hours for the right candidate, this would include a percentage of Saturdays.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collecting donated furniture from homes and businesses
- Delivering items to our charity shops and to families we support
- Ensuring safe loading, unloading, and transport of goods
- Providing excellent customer service to both external and internal customers
- Working closely with our warehouse and retail teams
What We’re Looking For
- A full, clean UK driving licence (experience with vans preferred)
- Due to our insurance conditions, you will need to be over the age of 25
- Someone physically able to lift and move furniture safely
- A positive, helpful attitude and good communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and respect for our charity’s values
- Ability to work well with volunteers and staff

- Salary: Scale A entry point from £25,113 per annum (£10,045.20 for 15 hours/week, £20,090.40 for 30 hours/week)
