Job Description

We have a temporary 6 month contract for a Shop Manager at our Aldeburgh Shop. You will be a proactive, creative and dynamic individual who is forward thinking ensuring our retail shops continually meet the progressive and ever changing world of ‘charity retail’.

Key Responsibilities

• To take full responsibility for day-to-day organisation of the shop
• Achieve agreed financial budgets
• Provide a high standard of customer service and satisfaction at all times to both external and internal customers
• Set and maintain high standards of merchandising, layout and display
• Work with and manage a team of volunteers who are integral to our business

Our work is centred on an individual’s needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Established in 1989, the hospice has built a reputation for delivering high-level care to patients and the community it serves. Last year the charity supported over 4,000 patients and their families. • Salary: Scale B entry point from £25,938 per annum
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm occasional Sunday cover required
