Team Leader
Location: Wirral | Job Type: Full-time | Work Type: On-site

As a Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of our care services, responsible for leading and guiding a team of dedicated caregivers and support workers. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of care services, promoting teamwork, and maintaining high standards of care. This position demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Provide leadership and direction to a team of care staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
  • Care Coordination: Oversee the planning and delivery of care services to clients, ensuring care plans are followed and adjusted as needed.
  • Client Assessment: Conduct client assessments and collaborate with care coordinators to develop and update individualized care plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of care services, conduct audits, and implement improvements to enhance the client experience.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team, with healthcare professionals, clients, and their families.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to care staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to care delivery, client satisfaction, or team dynamics.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client records and care plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role in the healthcare or caregiving field is required.
  • Certification in leadership or healthcare management is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care services.
  • Driving license is required.
