Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our retail industry sector-leading clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud developer to join their team for a six-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end architecture for Salesforce B2C Commerce implementations. Define technical standards, best practices, and governance for eCommerce solutions.
  • Integration & Customization: Architect integrations with ERP, OMS, CRM, Payment Gateways, and third-party systems. Oversee customizations using SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture) and ISML templates.
  • Performance & Scalability: Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and scalability of the platform. Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and GDPR.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Strong experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (Demandware) architecture and development.
  • Proficiency in SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, Node.js, and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Modelling, Cartridges, and Business Manager Configurations.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment strategies.
  • Familiarity with Headless Commerce, Composable Architecture, and Omnichannel strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
