Job Description

The Production Programmer is expected to play a leading role in the development of the team and would be expected to advocate and encourage best working practices that promote high degrees of flexibility, deliverability, quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the team to ensure the swift and accurate progression of client jobs.
  • Liaising with Account managers and Sales
  • Performing Ad-hoc Queries & Counts, using Fast Stats and Databricks (Clickup experience also beneficial)
  • Performing ad-hoc and bespoke file matches
  • Standardisation of external data
  • Name & Address Enhancement
  • Name & Address Deduplication
  • General Bureau processing

Knowledge and Experience

Personal Profile:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years “Hands on“ Data processing experience working with name & address data used for marketing
  • 1 year’s experience of working with Databricks
  • A high level of practical knowledge surrounding the issues pertinent to working with name and address data
  • Knowledge of the various industry suppression files

Technical skills:

Although IT training will be given, it would be advantageous if candidates were to possess these skills or similar

  • Good understanding of logical data manipulation processes and tools
  • Good understanding of Data reformat, Hygiene, enhancement & deduplication
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite (word, Excel. Outlook etc)
  • Databricks, FastStats and SQL experience
