[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for a Fraud Investigator to join the team. This is a remote full-time position with a salary of up to £29,000 per year. The application deadline has passed (27 October 2021).

And right now, we are looking for a Fraud Investigator to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of [Employer hidden]’s fraud systems and controls, investigating fraud or suspected fraud incidents.

You will work alongside a small team of investigators and will be responsible for the identification and investigation of fraudulent and suspected fraudulent activity. Having a fraud background and insurance knowledge would be an advantage.

Role Responsibility

  • Responsible for running & analysing business reports to highlight fraud
  • Investigation of fraud and or suspected fraud, liaising with appropriate stakeholders
  • Use of established investigations and search tools together with newer Internet based tools
  • Police File Liaison, assisting with the preparation of evidence for court along with helping to put together written statements
  • Working with industry fraud bodies (e.g. Insurance Fraud Bureau)
  • Collating information on fraudulent activity, and updating departmental and company records in relation to fraud savings

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in dealing with and investigating fraud
  • Experience in application fraud
  • Ability to think logically and process information with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business/Market Awareness, particularly in relation to Fraud
  • Experienced with the use of SQL, Snowflake, Tableau and/or Radar would be an advantage
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of work, and to balance the demands of maintaining a high-quality work and delivering to deadlines
