Job Introduction

[Employer hidden] is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Change team within our award-winning Insurance business. This role is responsible for the management of projects including product development, regulatory and contractual change, technology change and business process change. Fully remote role with a salary up to £55,000.

Role Responsibility

  • Management of projects within the insurance business with delivery to agreed time, budget and quality criteria
  • Working on varied projects including technology delivery, business process change, product development, business implementation or risk and regulatory initiatives
  • Project management from inception through to supporting benefit realisation
  • Creating and maintaining good working relationships with project sponsors and business stakeholders
  • Communicating across all levels to enable clear understanding of strategy behind project needs
  • Preparation and presentation of project documentation to senior management
  • Supporting a team of business professionals to achieve excellent standards of productivity and quality
  • Being an effective negotiator, balancing alternatives and seeking win-win solutions
  • Managing project team members and resources, including third parties and suppliers
  • Effective communication of project status and issues to business management, IT and project teams
  • Project governance including creation and maintenance of project plan, highlight reporting, risk and issue management
  • Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Change Partner
  • Working to waterfall methodology but open to new ideas and ways of working

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of successful project delivery in a similar role
  • Ideally experience within the Insurance industry or similar regulatory industries
  • Exposure to various methodologies, specifically Waterfall
  • Proven experience of managing cross-divisional stakeholder and change management
  • Resilient mindset with effective communication at all levels
  • Positive attitude with proactive approach to organisation and delivery
