Electrical Maintenance Engineer

£44,020.00/yr - Permanent Nights - Monday to Thursday

Your Role

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic test systems, including control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, National Instruments) and associated instrumentation.
  • Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance on CNC equipment, including controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma, and Mitsubishi.
  • Support maintenance of process equipment, including Heat Treatment and Plating facilities.
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Understand and work with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and drawings.
  • Conduct electrical fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs, and modifications.

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery.
  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Understand and work with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and drawings.
  • Proven experience in a Maintenance or Service Engineer role.
  • Knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.

Desirable

  • Experience with a range of industrial systems and maintenance practices.
