Job Description

Physiotherapy Assistant (Technical Instructor) | Brentwood | Part-time, 21.5 hours per week to include Saturday mornings

Spire Hartswood Hospital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant (Technical Instructor) to join our friendly physiotherapy team on a part time basis.

You will play a vital role in delivering high quality care and supporting our Physiotherapists in providing treatment to a wide range of patients, including orthopaedic and surgical cases.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the physiotherapists with safe delivery of treatment plans.
  • Supporting patients with mobility, exercise programmes and rehabilitation activities.
  • Working in different areas to include Wards and Poolside.
  • Preparing treatment areas and equipment for use.
  • Monitoring and recording patient progress in line with department procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients.

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience within in a healthcare, therapy or support role is desirable.
  • A genuine interest in physiotherapy and patient care.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Administration experience essential.
  • Flexible approach, with availability for weekend shifts.
