Electronic Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Manager to lead the design and development of advanced electronic solutions for pumping applications. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape future products in a FTSE100 company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing electronics design team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Manage electronics design projects from concept to production, meeting timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
- Drive technological innovation in circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware, and system integration.
- Act as main point of contact for electronics design matters, communicating with senior management and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and design for manufacturability/testability.
- Develop and manage budgets for the electronics design function.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Proven track record in electronics design with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a regulated industry.
- Expertise in analogue/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded firmware (C/C++, VHDL/Verilog).
- Proficiency with electronics CAD tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle) and simulation software.
- Knowledge of EMC, safety standards (CE, UL), and product certification processes.
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies, signal processing, and power electronics.
- Excellent project management and people management skills.
