Lead HSE Advisor

About the Opportunity

To provide direct, sustainable, reliable HSE leadership, support, guidance and appropriate challenge to operations. Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals across Morecambe Hub.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assure the implementation of [Employer hidden] HSE programs, perform risk assessments, identify improvements, and share best practices.
  • Contribute HSE input to projects and integrity management processes.
  • Identify HSE training, communication, and evaluation processes while monitoring and analysing effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and manage HSE KPIs and dashboards.
  • Align HSE strategies and policies with corporate objectives.
  • Implement HSEQ Management System and Standards.
  • Leverage digital tools and data analytics for real-time monitoring.
  • Conduct internal and external HSE audits.
  • Assess and maintain offshore security provisions.
  • Provide expertise for radiation management.
  • Coordinate HSE Intervention planning.
  • Coordinate incident investigations.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and crisis response readiness.
  • Perform nominated emergency response role.
  • Incorporate environmental responsibility.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring.
  • Plan for workforce capability and succession.
  • Ensure adherence to Competence and Training framework.
  • Manage HSE budgets.
  • Stay updated on HSE developments.
  • Contribute to proactive risk management culture.

About You

  • NEBOSH Certificate (minimum) or Diploma (preferred)
  • At least 5 years in Oil & Gas sector
  • Professional membership (e.g. IOSH) or working towards
  • Team player with collaboration skills
  • Track record in developing pragmatic solutions
  • Experience with technically qualified HSE and Technical professionals
  • Good knowledge of risk management, compliance, emergency response
