About the role

At Perk, we build in small, empowered teams. As a Product Designer at Perk, you'll own the experience, quality, and vision for Reporting. You'll define what matters most — uncovering what critical information users need, when they need it, and how it should be surfaced — and shape that into a reporting experience that's clear, actionable, and genuinely useful.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive high-velocity execution in close collaboration with product and engineering
  • Bridge user needs and business goals, making sure design has a clear voice
  • Conduct and synthesize user research to deeply understand customer problems
  • Design experiences for millions of employees and thousands of finance teams
  • Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude and Cursor
  • Stay current on emerging AI trends and product patterns
  • Push design practice forward: championing the user, contributing to high craft, and moving toward AI-native ways of working

What You’ll Need

  • Experience designing data-heavy or analytics products
  • Strong customer empathy and design thinking
  • Fluency in data, using qualitative and quantitative signals
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product direction
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building or prototyping
  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Figma, Git)

How We Work
