What You'll Be Doing
- Owning a portfolio of 4–6 live roles at any time - end to end: intake, search strategy, sourcing, candidate assessment, offer and close.
- Partnering with hiring managers across multiple functions (Staff Engineer, product, senior Finance, etc.)
- Running structured intake sessions to turn briefs into sharp search strategies.
- Driving candidate experience that is fast, honest, considered - no ghosting.
- Calibrating with hiring managers and shifting strategy when needed.
- Closing offers solo, navigating counter offers.
- Leaving the function in better shape - clean Ashby hygiene, documented searches, market insights.
What We'd Love to See
- 5+ years running in-house technical or GTM recruiting at a high growth company.
- Track record of running senior searches solo, end to end.
- Genuine fluency across multiple hiring areas - able to learn a new function in a week.
- Sharp judgment on candidates beyond gut feel.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and heavy load for six months.
