FULL DESCRIPTION

Business Development Representative

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] exists to replace factory-era ERPs with software that feels alive. Our Smart Financial Platform gives modern, global companies superpowers—automated accounting, real-time reporting, and financial flows that move at the speed of the business. We build with our customers, ship fast, and obsess over craft. In a short time, [Employer hidden] has gone from idea to the operating core for leading companies like Lovable, Legora, and Keyshot. People don’t just use [Employer hidden]—they enjoy it. We’re an early team defining a new software category. Think engineers who love debits and credits, designers who care about reconciliation states, and operators who treat finance as a product. If you’re excited to modernize how the world runs money—one workflow at a time—you’re in the right place. Backed by world-class investors and advised by industry titans, we’re building category-defining products with the freedom to ship ambitiously and own outcomes. Come help us make [Employer hidden] the global default for next-gen finance.

The BDR role

  • Owning the top of the funnel by generating and qualifying pipeline for our sales team.
  • Running outbound prospecting: email, LinkedIn, cold calling - to engage decision-makers in target industries (asset-[Employer hidden], multinational companies).
  • Booking high-quality meetings with finance leaders and C-suite executives, understanding their needs and positioning [Employer hidden]'s value.
  • Developing personalized outreach strategies and messaging to break into target accounts.
  • Collaborating closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs and pipeline efficiency.
  • Tracking and optimizing outreach efforts, using tools like Amplemarket, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Working with your AE to support sales cycles to build your end-to-end sales cycle experience - we don't want you to be a BDR forever.

How you fit into the team

Your mission is to help prospects see the [Employer hidden]. This is a full-cycle BDR role, meaning you'll drive outbound prospecting while working closely with AEs to build pipeline. You'll work alongside a small but stellar team that deeply understands the market and has done this before.

Your qualifications could be

  • 2-3 years of outbound sales experience (recruiting, event sales, etc) OR 1 year experience as a BDR in a SaaS environment
  • A proven track record of booking meetings and generating pipeline that converts into revenue.
  • Exceptional communication skills. Clear, concise, and persuasive across email, phone, and live conversations
  • High phone confidence. This is a phone heavy role with daily cold calling
  • A hunter mentality: you're proactive, resilient, and energized by outreach.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail. CRM hygiene and follow ups are second nature
  • Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, thriving amidst change and high expectations.
  • Coachable and desire to learn about tech, SaaS, and business acumen
  • Prior quota carrying experience with consistent target overachievement

Bonus points

  • Any amount of Audit/Accounting experience, a finance degree, or previous experience selling to the office of the CFO
  • Experience selling financial software, ERPs, or fintech solutions.
  • Prior success using sales automation/prospecting tools (Amplemarket, Salesloft, Outreach, HubSpot).
  • Cold-calling wizardry - if you really want to get on our radar, give us a call and pitch us.
  • AI maximalist mindset. You actively experiment with AI tools, build side projects, or use AI to improve prospecting, research, and workflow efficiency.

The good stuff

  • A competitive salary + potential stock options
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Generous package of paid annual leave + public holidays in the country where you are based.
  • Regular socials and company off-sites (last time was France and next time is in October).
  • A huge opportunity for career growth as you'll help shape a market-defining product.
