Overview
The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
[Employer hidden] is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we're changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we've grown into a diverse team of over 220 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we've:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 145k+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world's Top 40 most popular projects
- Been ranked as one of Europe's most promising privately held SaaS startups (4th in Sifted's 2025 B2B SaaS Rising 100)
- Raised $240m to date, from Sequoia's first German seed to our recent $180m Series C - bringing us to a $2.5bn valuation
That's the company we've built. Now we'd love to see what you can build. If you're applying, try [Employer hidden] out - whether you're technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.[Employer hidden].cloud/register.
We're in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
Your Role
Your main goal will be to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and networking foundations powering [Employer hidden] Cloud, enabling us to scale securely and reliably across regions and customers. To do so, you'll help shape the infrastructure architecture, systems, and deployment patterns that allow [Employer hidden] Cloud to grow with speed, resilience, and confidence:
- Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Create infrastructure solutions from the ground up rather than simply operating existing tooling or templates.
- Support the evolution of our platform architecture as [Employer hidden] Cloud scales to millions of users.
- Build and improve infrastructure patterns for multi-region deployments, high availability, and fault tolerance.
- Use Kubernetes and managed Kubernetes services such as AKS to run and scale cloud-native workloads.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks before they impact customers or internal teams.
- Improve the security, resilience, and hardening of our cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
- Apply strong infrastructure architecture principles to build systems that are secure, maintainable, and scalable.
- Contribute to networking-related platform decisions, including Kubernetes networking, tunneling, routing, and connectivity patterns.
- Use Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices to build repeatable, reliable, and well-governed infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Cloud Platform engineers, product engineers, and other technical teams on cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.
- Bring a hands-on, pragmatic approach to architectural decision-making, technical trade-offs, and platform evolution.
- Contribute to on-call rotation, helping keep our systems healthy and performant.
- Own and evolve KTLO (keep-the-lights-on) work: tackle reliability, performance bottlenecks, and critical bug fixes.
Requirements
Must-haves
- Cloud infrastructure experience: You have hands-on experience managing and deploying infrastructure on Azure or alternatively GCP or AWS.
- Infrastructure design: You have designed infrastructure solutions from the ground up, not just operated tools or systems built by others.
- Infrastructure as Code: You're confident using Terraform and IaC practices to build scalable, repeatable cloud infrastructure.
- Kubernetes: You have strong experience with Kubernetes and managed services such as AKS, or GKE, EKS.
- Security-first mindset: You know how to build secure, hardened systems using cloud and infrastructure best practices.
- Scale experience: You have worked on larger-scale deployments and understand the operational challenges that come with growth.
- Architectural judgement: You can make thoughtful infrastructure design decisions and explain the trade-offs behind them.
- Growth mindset: You're curious, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out when the answer is not immediately obvious.
Nice-to-haves
- Networking fundamentals: You have a strong understanding of networking principles, architecture, routing, and connectivity patterns.
- Kubernetes networking: You're familiar with Kubernetes networking concepts, tunneling, ingress, service meshes, or related patterns.
- Mentorship: You enjoy sharing knowledge and helping junior engineers build stronger infrastructure judgement.
- Azure experience: You have hands-on experience building or operating infrastructure on Azure.
- Startup experience: You've worked in a scrappy startup, high-trust small team, or entrepreneurial environment.
Why Join Us?
At [Employer hidden], you'll work on the infrastructure challenges that define the next stage of our growth: scaling [Employer hidden] Cloud from hundreds of thousands of users to millions while keeping the platform secure, reliable, and fast. You'll help shape the foundations of a multi-cloud, multi-region platform used by a rapidly growing community of builders and technical teams around the world.
You'll join a small, high-trust Cloud Platform team with deep infrastructure expertise, lots of ownership, and real influence over architectural decisions. This is a chance to build hardened systems from the ground up, work across our AKS powered stack and help define the infrastructure patterns that will support [Employer hidden]'s next chapter.
