The Role

We're hiring a Lead Product Marketer. Your job is to help lead marketing for [Employer hidden]'s core energy products, from foundational strategy to world-class execution, and raise the standard of everything that goes out the door. This is an expert role with no direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Positioning: Own positioning and messaging for RED and RED Plus across broker and buyer segments. Build and maintain foundational PMM infrastructure. Define go-to-market approach for new features and products.
  • Execution & Delivery: Lead end-to-end production of product marketing materials: battle cards, sales decks, one-pagers, feature explainers, launch assets, and email copy. Set quality standards.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Product to translate technical detail into commercial narratives. Equip commercial teams with materials. Evangelise product marketing across the growth team.
  • Insight & Intelligence: Contribute to ICP development and customer segmentation using data and market research. Stay ahead of competitive landscape. Work AI-natively.

Requirements

Must haves:

  • Full proficiency in product marketing developed through considerable B2B experience.
  • Proven track record of owning positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for a product.
  • World-class writing: ability to turn complex detail into clear, compelling copy.
  • Track record of moving commercial outcomes.
  • Experience guiding and elevating the work of others.
  • AI-native: daily use of AI tools to accelerate work.
  • Clear, structured communicator with senior judgement.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in energy, fintech, or a regulated sector.
  • Experience in a product-led business.
  • Experience building a product marketing function from an early stage.
  • Familiarity with broker or intermediary channels.
  • Experience using data to sharpen ICP and segment definitions.
