UX Designer

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] London | Technology | Full-time | Hybrid

We are looking for a UX Designer ready to make their mark. Join the technology division at [Employer hidden] and help build a SaaS platform redefining sports marketing.

About [Employer hidden]

At [Employer hidden], we enable brands to push the limits of sports marketing through a unique blend of expertise, ingenuity and agility. Our complete 360-degree service offering takes brands from partnership identification through to delivery of fully integrated marketing strategies. With offices in the UK and the US, we support clients worldwide. We recently launched our technology division and are building a SaaS platform that will redefine how brands and rights holders work in sports marketing.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a UX Designer who is ready to make their mark. This is not a role for someone who wants to colour within the lines. You will be a founding voice in our product design culture; someone who challenges assumptions, shapes ways of working, and takes genuine ownership of the user experience across our digital platforms, client and guest experiences.

Working directly within our product team, you will collaborate closely with Client Services and Client Success Management teams to design thoughtful, value-driven solutions that serve both our clients and the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end UX design: From discovery and concept through to polished, production-ready interfaces
  • Build and evolve our design system and component library, establishing consistent standards that scale
  • Run user research, usability testing and stakeholder interviews to ground design decisions
  • Work together with product and engineering in an agile environment
  • Partner with Client Success Managers to translate feedback into user-centred solutions
  • Help define and champion our product design process including tooling, documentation, critique
  • Contribute to information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups
  • Proactively identify UX debt and opportunities for improvement

About You

You are entrepreneurial by nature. You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building things from scratch and take pride in moving quickly without sacrificing quality.

You'll bring:

  • A genuine curiosity about users, problems and systems
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to present design decisions
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload
  • A collaborative spirit
  • Actively seek and process feedback constructively
  • A strategic mindset
  • Mission-driven motivation

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Figma - confident across components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping and developer handoff
  • Miro for collaborative workshops and journey mapping
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Information architecture and interaction design fundamentals
  • Prototyping at varying levels of fidelity

Desirable:

  • User research methods
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS)
  • Experience with agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of analytics and data visualisation
  • Motion design or micro-interaction experience
  • SaaS or B2B product design background

Experience & Background

  • Proven UX/product design experience, ideally in SaaS or digital product environment
  • A portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, visual craft and clear design process
  • Experience in fast-paced, early-stage or scale-up environments
  • Exposure to client-facing work is highly desirable

Why [Employer hidden]

  • Join at a pivotal moment – help shape design culture from the ground up
  • Real influence over product direction
  • Collaborative team that values ideas over hierarchy
  • Energy of a startup with backing of an established agency
  • Work at the intersection of sport, brand and technology

If you are the kind of designer who wants to build something meaningful, challenge the status quo and leave a real mark on a product people use — we would love to hear from you.
