About the role
[Employer hidden] is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the team at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK in Derby. This full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm) involves maintaining high cleanliness standards in a world-class manufacturing environment.
- Carry out cleaning duties across office areas, welfare facilities, corridors, and toilets
- Support cleaning within light industrial and production-adjacent areas where required
- Complete routine tasks such as dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping
- Ensure waste is collected, segregated, and disposed of in line with site procedures
- Replenish consumables including soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in line with manufacturing and workplace requirements
- Report any faults, hazards, or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Work independently and as part of a wider team to ensure consistent service delivery
What you’ll bring
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment is desirable, but not essential
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
