Location: Hull | Job Type: Full Time - 42 hours per week | Salary: £13.45 per hour plus [Employer hidden] Benefits | Closing Date: 12 May 2026
About the Role
As a Security Officer at [Employer hidden] in Hull, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all personnel, visitors, and property. Duties include managing site access, monitoring CCTV, responding to emergencies, and supporting general site safety. This role requires flexibility to work both day and night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern (12-hour shifts: 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am).
What You'll Do
- Prevent unauthorised entry to the site
- Monitor and operate CCTV and fire alarm systems
- Deliver security inductions
- Respond to emergencies and incidents (e.g. fire, flood, breach)
- Maintain clear and accurate records
- Support key management and vehicle movement control
- Follow all [Employer hidden] policies, health & safety rules, and site procedures
What You'll Bring
- Valid SIA Licence
- First Aid at Work Certificate (Desirable)
- Previous experience in a security role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT and keyboard skills
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Flexible and dependable
