Bagging Operative

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking two Bagging Operatives to join their Nottingham site on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves loading products, bagging and preparing items for despatch, ensuring quality standards, completing paperwork, and general housekeeping. Candidates should have a full driving licence, good communication and literacy skills, and the ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts. Forklift experience is advantageous. Training is provided.

The Position

We are seeking two Bagging Operatives to join our team at the Nottingham site. These are full-time, permanent roles working 12-hour shifts across various patterns to meet business needs. As a Bagging Operative, your duties will vary according to Company requirements and may include:

  • Loading product into appropriate vehicles
  • Preparing and bagging products ready for despatch
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards and taking samples before distribution
  • Completing paperwork and undertaking general housekeeping
  • Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as required by Management

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full valid driving licence (essential)
  • Forklift truck and/or shunter licence (advantageous)
  • Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; training will be provided where necessary
