Bagging Operative

The role involves loading products, bagging and preparing items for despatch, ensuring quality standards, completing paperwork, and general housekeeping. Candidates should have a full driving licence, good communication and literacy skills, and the ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts. Forklift experience is advantageous. Training is provided.

The Position
We are seeking two Bagging Operatives to join our team at the Nottingham site. These are full-time, permanent roles working 12-hour shifts across various patterns to meet business needs. As a Bagging Operative, your duties will vary according to Company requirements and may include:
- Loading product into appropriate vehicles
- Preparing and bagging products ready for despatch
- Ensuring products meet quality standards and taking samples before distribution
- Completing paperwork and undertaking general housekeeping
- Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as required by Management
Requirements
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Full valid driving licence (essential)
- Forklift truck and/or shunter licence (advantageous)
- Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexibility with working hours
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; training will be provided where necessary
