This permanent, full-time role (Monday-Friday, 6am-3pm) offers a salary of £33,830 per year plus benefits including company pension, free parking, and life insurance.

Job Description

To take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of warehouse operations, leading the team to ensure all activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision & Leadership – allocate workload, monitor performance, provide coaching
  • Inbound Deliveries – oversee booking-in, offloading, and stock putaway
  • Stock Control & Replenishment – maintain stock availability and flow
  • Warehouse Operations – ensure housekeeping, maintenance, and process improvements
  • Compliance & Standards – promote safety, food hygiene, and quality control

Person Specification

  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience
  • Confident communicator with ability to influence
  • Proactive and solution-oriented
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational setting
  • Organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems (e.g. Qstock, Qnetex)
  • Understanding of Health & Safety, food hygiene, and quality standards
