Sales Development Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

Sales Development

  • Client research approach and quality
  • Preliminary lead qualification
  • Outbound prospecting approach and activity
  • Lead nurturing approach and activity
  • Market presence amplification

Leadership

  • Managing the activity and performance of the Sales Development team
  • Coaching and mentoring Sales Development team in day-to-day approach and activity
  • Guiding professional development of individuals in Sales Development team

Collaboration

  • Align sales development approach and activity to sector strategies, messaging, marketing, and business development efforts
  • Support development of sector strategies
  • Work with sector teams to transfer qualified leads

Administrative

  • Maintaining high-quality lead and prospecting data and records in CRM
  • Tracking team’s performance and success
  • Monitoring efficacy of tooling and other investments, proposing improvements

Communication

  • Translating sector propositions, messaging, and collateral into effective outbound prospecting
  • Regular reporting on team’s activity, efficiency, efficacy, and success
