About the Role
[Employer hidden] is looking for an intern who has a high-level of interest in seaweed aquaculture to work in their seaweed nursery assisting with the operational running and learning laboratory-based skills. The role will provide the opportunity to engage in activity on the seaweed farm, gain an understanding of the research carried out at SAMS and learn about the commercial aspects of the developing seaweed industry.
You will gain experience in: culture maintenance, aquarium set-up, making growth media, cleaning equipment and sterilising consumables.

These summer placements are open to those who have nearly graduated or have recently graduated and are seeking to gain experience within the aquaculture sector via meaningful work. Applicants must be able to work full time in the UK.
