About the Role
This is a 26-week work placement in the Finance department at SAMS. The role is supported by funding from the Argyll & Bute UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and is open only to unemployed residents of Argyll & Bute. The position offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible).
Purpose
- Provide finance administration support, focusing on the collation, checking and processing of timesheet recording allocations.
- Assist with reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger and provide backup information for audits.
- Upskill, learn and develop competence across a number of financial activity areas.
- Fully engage with the placement to maximise your experience with us and to support your future career choices.
