BOM Engineer & Planning Coordinator

We have an opportunity for a dedicated BOM Engineer & Planning Coordinator to join our team at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group in Paisley, Glasgow. This permanent position involves supporting our manufacturing operations through the development, maintenance, and optimisation of Bill of Materials (BOMs), formulas, and routings. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our planning function by managing critical datasets within the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), and acting as a link between the planning and CAD teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or planning environment
  • Strong understanding of BOM structures, routings, and production processes
  • Awareness of production planning principles including MRP, scheduling, and capacity planning
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work effectively with limited guidance and prioritise tasks
  • Proficient in personal computing, especially spreadsheet applications
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Flexibility to work across shifts and at short notice if required
