Salary: £16.00 per hour plus expenses inc mileage allowance contribution
Contract: Self Employed, approximately 15 to 25 hours per week, seasonal from August 2026 to May 2027

Job Purpose

[Employer hidden] has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to play a key role in the development of rugby within the local community in conjunction with Kinross High School.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Deliver rugby sessions and support both curriculum and extra-curricular activities at Kinross High School, including midweek state school events.
  • Assist Active Schools in running primary school rugby programs and P7 transitions within the Kinross cluster.
  • Oversee players moving from school to club rugby at [Employer hidden].
  • Provide on-field support at Mini and Midi levels for [Employer hidden].
  • Help Sports Leaders and Active Schools with primary school rugby delivery.
  • Assist [Employer hidden] youth teams with regional play participation.
  • Promote Female club rugby for under-16s, linking efforts with responsibilities for older age groups.
  • Help organise and run community activities like Holiday Camps and Come & Try events.
  • Coordinate with Scottish Rugby for ongoing professional development.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with all stakeholders.
  • Boost [Employer hidden]'s community profile through effective social media postings.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Proactive, adaptable, and flexible work approach.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with all stakeholders.
  • Skilled in organisation and planning.
  • Experience in high school coaching or sports development.
  • Rugby coaching credentials required.
  • Must pass a PVG check.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, email).
  • Full clean driving license.
