The Vacancy
This is a unique role with the [Employer hidden] Physiotherapy ecosystem and requires an adaptable, resilient, and highly autonomous clinician who can thrive in the high-octane, small-unit environment of International Sevens. It offers unparalleled international exposure and autonomy but with clear reporting lines and remote support. We expect it to be a highly sought after job role for an ambitious clinician who wants to fast-track their development.
What you will be doing:
- Lead all clinical requirements during World Series and European tours, including acute triage, Return to Play decisions in tournament windows, and recovery protocols.
- Run daily treatment and prep clinics while on the road, managing everything from taping and soft tissue work to neuro-muscular screening.
- Manage the mobile medical kit, pharmacy supplies, and emergency equipment required for international travel.
- Maintain meticulous medical records on the [Employer hidden] central system, even while operating in remote or high-pressure environments.
What we’re looking for:
- BSc Physiotherapy - HCPC & CSP Registered
- Level 3 Pitch-side Trauma Certification (PHICIS or equiv)
- Experience in a professional team sport environment, preferably rugby
- Resilience for working long hours in a high pressure environment, with international travel
