Casual Cleaner

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team on an as-needed basis. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our clients, residents, and staff. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours to fit around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, surfaces, and furniture.
- Sanitisation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect high-touch areas, including restrooms, kitchens, and communal zones.
- Waste Management: Empty rubbish and recycling bins, ensuring liners are replaced and waste is disposed of appropriately.
- Supply Management: Monitor and replenish essential supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and infection control protocols.
- Reporting: Promptly notify management of any maintenance issues, repairs needed, or equipment malfunctions.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar professional cleaning role is preferred, though training can be provided for motivated candidates.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for cleanliness and the ability to maintain high standards consistently.
- Independence: Capability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while following a set cleaning schedule.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional manner when interacting with clients or staff.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a dependable work ethic are essential for casual shift coverage.
