Falkirk Local Group Volunteer
Join the Falkirk local group of the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] as a volunteer. The committee is seeking enthusiastic wildlife lovers, especially a Secretary to take minutes at meetings. Help with meetings, conservation work, events, and children's Wildlife Watch groups.
About the Role
Our committee is looking for enthusiastic wildlife lovers to volunteer. Expand your knowledge about local wildlife and other species, and develop your skills through our various workshops and events. We also have a regular walks and talks programme. We're especially looking for someone to be our new Secretary and take minutes at meetings.
Volunteer Activities
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Hospitality at meetings and talks
- Practical conservation work on our reserves
- Collecting money for the Trust at events
- Manning stalls at reserve open days etc.
- Help out with our children’s Wildlife Watch groups
Location and Schedule
Where we meet: The third Tuesday between September and April at 19:30 in the main hall of Trinity Church, just off High Street in Falkirk town centre. Limited parking. Address: Church hall, Falkirk Trinity Church, Manse Road, FK1 1JN. This is a flexible opportunity available Monday to Sunday, from Tuesday 04 February 2025 till Monday 04 February 2030.
