[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Careers Adviser to join their National Recruitment Campaign Talent Bank 2026. This role is based in various locations across Scotland and offers a salary of £44,525 - £50,740 per year.
About the Role
You will provide high quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance using a coaching approach, supporting customers on a one to one and group basis. Your work will focus on developing career management skills, helping individuals understand their options, set goals and take ownership of their career journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver careers information, advice and guidance using a coaching approach
- Assess customer needs using approved tools and develop tailored career development plans
- Work closely with partners to support effective transitions into learning, training or employment
- Promote SDS services, including My World of Work
- Maintain accurate records to support continuous improvement and high professional standards
Requirements
- Hold or be pending qualification in July 2026 the Career Development Institute (CDI) UK-recognised professional accredited Qualification in Career Development (QCD or equivalent)
- Strong coaching and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of career management skills and labour market information
- Ability to work flexibly in a changing environment
- Commitment to National Occupational Standards and Code of Ethics
