Fire Installation Engineer

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Plc is seeking a skilled Fire Installation Engineer for the UK South region. This permanent, full-time role involves installing fire and life safety systems including aspirating, PAVA, and disabled refuge systems. The ideal candidate has proven installation experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

The Role

Responsible for the installation of a range of fire and life safety systems including aspirating, PAVA, disabled refuge systems. Ensure all systems are installed to design specifications and in line with client expectations, delivering high standards of workmanship, compliance, and safety. Includes installing systems to meet technical specifications, reading and interpreting plans and drawings, completing all digital documentation, ordering parts, collecting equipment, and providing site updates to project teams. Liaise closely with internal departments and clients, work to strict deadlines, and ensure a smooth transition during project handovers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven installation experience across fire and life safety systems
  • Knowledge of wireless, conventional & addressable fire alarm systems and compliance
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Confident reading technical drawings
  • Digitally literate
  • Customer-focused
  • Experienced in working to deadlines and compliance standards
