Scrum Master
Key Purpose: This role is responsible for ensuring that the Dev teams in [Employer hidden] Digital platform understand, practice and are guided by the principles of the Scrum framework in developing, delivering, and sustaining complex products.
Role Scope: We are currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our technology team. You will be expected to bring in your Agile experience to work with other members of the project team and to work with [Employer hidden] development release team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage one or more Agile development team
- Inspire and coach teams with varying levels of Agile experience and maturity
- Facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Sprint reviews, Retrospectives and the daily stand-up (and backlog refinements)
- Support the efficient flow of work through Agile teams by helping the teams remove obstacles / impediments and make improvements
- Work closely with Product Owners to deliver value to the business
- Develop a continuous improvement culture
- Enable teams to monitor progress within and across sprints using effective metrics
- Planning, forecasting and reporting of team velocity and throughput
- Participate in scheduling of deliverables to meet wider programme dependencies
- Involved in team budget and resource management
- Teach and coach Agile practices and values
- Working knowledge of Agile frameworks, in particular Scrum and Kanban
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies
- Keep up to date with emerging industry practices
The Ideal Candidate
Skills & Experience Required:
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I)
- Experience as a Scrum Master
- Proven experience working with multiple teams
- Proven experience working with teams remotely / virtually
- Knowledge of Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Desirable:
- Experience in running training sessions on Agile / Scrum
- Experience transitioning teams from no Agile to Agile
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD
