International Trading Manager
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for an International Trading Manager to grow the business outside the UK. This permanent, hybrid role based in London offers competitive benefits.
Role Responsibility
As an International Development Manager, you will be a vital part of the International Trading team and integral in growing the [Employer hidden] business outside of the UK.
You will be working within a commercially driven department where the strategic aim is to grow sales profitably. You will be a key part of the team that will identify and develop new initiatives that champion the [Employer hidden] brand, attracting new customers and improving the overall customer experience for both our direct and third-party sales channels.
Good communication in this role is essential as you will work closely with various internal teams such as UX, marketing, customer services, finance, and a variety of external suppliers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has some experience working within a similar Trading / Ecommerce environment.
As an International Development Manager you will:
- Continually review information on sales, bestsellers & key online metrics to find opportunities to best trade
- Educate yourself to know and understand the [Employer hidden] customer across all sales channels, in the UK and internationally.
- Collaboration with colleagues and teams to test and learn what the customer wants. Ensure your recommendations have the customer’s needs and want at the forefront to increase sales internationally.
- Translates ideas into practical solutions that improve performance internationally.
- Communicate across all levels of the business. Is good at influencing senior stakeholders to win support for positive change and new ideas that support international growth.
- Build a close understanding of the trading calendars & customer shopping behaviours in our key countries and third-party sales channels.
- Share business knowledge quickly and develop a good understanding of business priorities.
- Identify improvements and developments of internal and external processes with a constant view of improving service and profitability.
- Implement opportunities for localising onsite content to benefit our direct and third-party sales channels.
- Identify and champion additional online functionality and features to grow sales in individual countries.
- Develops a network of productive relationships internally and externally that helps ensure international development is considered and supported.
- Support in the identification and execution of key strategic opportunities, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to get the job done.
- Attend all relevant internal meetings and account reviews.
- Participates in productive meetings that focus on the task in hand.
- Accurate administration of key business documents required both internally and externally.
- Champion international event programme, ensuring accurate planning & execution with relevant commercial offers
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience within a similar role
- Strong analytical skills
- Keen interest in fashion, online and awareness of the latest trends.
- Strong Influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to mid-senior level stakeholders
- Experience of working within an international department is desired but not essential
- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
- Advanced Excel and experience with Google Analytics essential
- Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
