About [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]

As a Gold Investors in People organisation, we offer a varied role, company benefits, and excellent career progression. Our Laboratory Animal Science (LAS) department comprises several distinct animal facilities. Unlike many other establishments, our team members receive extensive cross-training and are proficient in a wide range of techniques and procedures across all species housed within the facilities.
Role Overview
The focus of this role is the conduct of husbandry procedures for all laboratory species on site. This includes feeding, watering, bedding and cage changing. You will also be involved in delivering essential care and well-being services to the animals including positive reinforcement training. Other duties include routine cleaning of the animal rooms and equipment and assisting experienced Animal Technologists with technical procedures.
