FULL DESCRIPTION
Parts Department Sales Assistant
SVC Solutions is recruiting for a client seeking a Parts Department Sales Assistant. Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum. Location: Halstead CO9. Full-time, permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming parts enquiries and convert them into sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and expand the customer base
- Manage stock control, goods received, and inventory accuracy
- Issue parts and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and parts performance
- Use internal systems and Microsoft Office for reporting and administration
- Occasionally attend customer events and offsite stock checks
Requirements
- Experience dealing with parts/components within heavy engineering, HGV vehicles, or agricultural machinery (desirable)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, proactive approach with ability to work independently
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable using IT systems, including Word and Excel
