SAP ILM Consultant

Location: United Kingdom

Salary: £50000 - £70000 P.A

Role description

The consultant takes ownership of consulting and client activity by advising and defining solutions and acting as a specialist who provides subject matter expertise. They are focused on delivering sales revenue through delivering personal and company utilisation. They are typically recognised as a leader in a particular area within the consulting group and assist in developing and mentoring others and innovating Company propositions. 

They also assist in proposition development, IP development, and winning bids 

Responsibilities

  • Delivers consulting solutions in the SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) area for archiving, deletion and retention of key data in SAP ERP, S/4 HANA and CRM environments.
  • Experience in one or more of Traditional Archiving (SARA), ILM and ECM technologies
  • Experience in Data Archiving and ILM related technical knowledge, implementation providing conceptual and detailed technical design to business needs.
  • Understands SAP retention management concepts
  • Candidate should have knowledge regarding dependencies between different archiving objects across all modules. Sequence of archiving.
  • Experience in ILM Reporting
  • Advises on the SAP solutions to support GDPR.
  • Provides specialist subject matter expertise in line with the solution.
  • Takes total ownership of delivering solutions and value to the customer by leading projects and project teams.
  • Proficient in data analysis and mapping
  • Familiarisation with core SAP Modules – HCM, CRM, SCM, SD, FI etc.
  • Familiarisation with archival and management of unstructured documents is desirable
  • Knowledge of ABAP desirable
