Responsibilities

Perform the role of Solution Architect within a Fleetwave transformation project, ensuring the proposed design/ change meets the agreed solution design principals, ensuring a best practice solution design and build.
Responsible for the design of the Technical, Solution and Transition Architectures.
Work with internal and external teams to ensure the delivery of a best practice solution design that meets business requirements, design principles and is value for money.
Provide expert guidance and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial conception to implementation and deployment, ensuring solutions meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
Work with Transformation programme architecture team to ensure that a holistic view of the end-to-end architecture across the application architecture is maintained.
Work with project/ programme teams with a delivery focus to ensure build, migration, testing and cutover activities are successful; ensuring design objectives and design principles are maintained.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with solution implementation, proactively mitigating risks and developing contingency plans to ensure successful delivery.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications, and communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Review all internal and external created solution documentation to ensure they meet best practice

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions.
Experience of working in a Fleet Management or Asset Maintenance application landscape.
Deep understanding of software architecture principles, cloud technologies, modern development methodologies and tier one ERP software applications (e.g. MS Dynamics D365)
An understanding of the Azure Integration Services tools and services used to integrate cloud technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proactive and collaborative approach to driving results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF,) are a plus.
