Job Description
Our client is looking for a Service Transition Manager who has demonstrable experience of designing SAP support/service model.
This is an Outside IR35 Contract opportunity for a long term engagement.
Requirements:
- Technical SAP background.
- Experienced in managing a live SAP service, and transitioning from project into support mode. Can leverage experience and artefacts from previous SAP projects/customers on what works/doesn’t work to accelerate the design and to avoid common pitfalls.
- Ideally has experience in managing live SAP Cloud (SaaS) products.
- Has led global SAP CoE across multiple geographies for previous customers with hybrid internal resource and external SAP AMS partner.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, and experience in driving changes to IT operating models.
- Able to quickly establish credibility, and possess strong stakeholder management (up to CIO level) in order to influence and drive to consensus.
- Leading implementation of SAP support/service model
- Supplier and commercial management – able to support procurement in contract negotiations, and bring experience of previous SAP AMS contracting models.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Excellent communications skills, with experience working with Global teams.
