Role overview
As a Senior Sales Associate (CFDs), you will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding institutional clients with an interest in trading CFDs. This role requires a strong understanding of leveraged trading products, market structure, and institutional sales processes. You will collaborate with trading, marketing, and compliance teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and proprietary trading firms.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to attract and grow CFD business from institutional clients
- Identify and engage new prospects via direct outreach, referrals, networking, and attendance at industry events
- Manage the sales pipeline and convert leads into active trading relationships
- Conduct client presentations and product demos, highlighting our CFD offering and value proposition
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients throughout the onboarding process
- Work closely with compliance and operations to ensure efficient client onboarding and KYC procedures
- Provide feedback to product and trading teams on client requirements and competitive developments
- Maintain strong industry knowledge and stay updated on relevant regulatory changes
Required knowledge and level of experience
- Strong knowledge of CFDs and related derivatives markets
- Extensive experience in institutional sales or business development, ideally within brokerage, investment banking, or fintech
- Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting CFD trading (e.g. MiFID II, ESMA rules)
