Head of Business Development

Key Responsibility

• Working directly with the Managing Director and London Partners, you will lead the UK business development strategy
• Identify and pursue opportunities across the UK built environment, providing strategic assessments of potential projects and pipeline management
• Chair monthly pipeline meetings with London leadership and define market priorities for the studio
• Oversee responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. Working closely with the Bid and Commercial Manager on fee proposals and contract negotiations
• Execute and oversee proposal production, ensuring exceptional narrative positioning and visual quality
• Act as a key face of the brand at industry forums, conferences, and evening events
• Maintain CRM systems and provide regular reporting to the global leadership team

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in business development or client strategy within architecture, urban design, or the broader built environment
• Master’s degree in Architecture, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Deep understanding of UK development markets, procurement processes, and an existing network of developers and consultants
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and experience with CRM systems is desirable
• Comfortable operating at a high strategic level and with document production and organisation
